Experience
Marta has over twelve years of experience in legal advisory work, in both the public and private sectors. Her practice focuses on Digital Law, with particular emphasis on digital assets and blockchain, as well as artificial intelligence. Before moving into private practice, she developed her career within the Spanish State Administration, where she provided legal advice and represented various public bodies in court. She now brings that experience to digital projects with a strong regulatory component. She collaborates with Croma Legal as Counsel.
She advises fintech companies and technology firms, both domestic and international, on compliance frameworks, data governance and licensing, among other matters.
Marta combines legal practice with university teaching at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF).
She holds degrees in Law and in Economics from UPF and completed a postgraduate program in AI Regulation at the University of Lisbon in 2024.
