Experience
Valeria has more than 25 years of experience in providing legal advice to national and international companies. After developing her entire career at Baker McKenzie —where she was the partner in charge of the Competition Law department in the Barcelona office— in 2024 she decided to start her own private practice. Since then, she collaborates with croma legal.
She specializes in European and national competition law. She advises on merger control, vertical and horizontal agreements, abuse of dominant position, compliance programs, as well as defending clients in sanctioning proceedings initiated by the competition authorities.
In addition, Valeria has a solid track record in contracting and international trade, with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all types of commercial and industrial collaboration contracts. She also advises on international sanctions and controls of foreign direct investment in Spain.
She has worked in sectors as diverse as consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and ports, always with a rigorous, close and results-oriented approach.
