Experience
Sergio de Juan-Creix has developed much of his career as an associate lawyer at the firm Cuatrecasas. He also led the IP / IT team at BDO Abogados in Barcelona. After these stages in leading law firms in Spain, in 2019 he founded the law firm croma legal supported by the firm Copyrait and its partner Enric Enrich.
«During my almost 20 years of professional practice, I have acquired extensive experience in industrial and intellectual property, unfair competition, distribution, advertising, e-commerce and personal data. In other words, I provide legal advice on those matters related to technology, entertainment, artworks, data protection, commercial agreements and digital environments, on regulatory, contractual and litigation issues.»
Sergio also combines his professional practice with teaching in the areas of advertising, data protection, audiovisual law, and intellectual property.
Sergio is a mediator for the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the Private Law Mediation Center of Catalonia, as well as arbitrator and mediator of the Arbitration Court of the Barcelona Bar Association (TACAB).
Finally, he has different certifications in the field of privacy, such as that of Senior DPO by APEP-IA an auditor of technological environments by the Barcelona Bar Association (AAULETEC) and that of Certified Data Privacy Professional (CDPP).
